Scorsese, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Tilda Swinton were just a few of the stars who celebrated the 50th-anniversary gala for Film at Lincoln Center.

Scorsese was among many stars in attendance to celebrate Film at Lincoln Center, closing out a slate that also included speeches from Tilda Swinton, Jake Gyllenhaal, Pedro Almodóvar, Dee Rees, and John Waters, among others. Backstage, Gyllenhaal stayed tight with his Okja and Wildlife collaborator Paul Dano and Zoe Kazan, while Rees introduced herself to Swinton, who was standing by with partner Sandro Kopp. Almodóvar, Waters, and Michael Moore happily snapped selfies together, gabbing backstage once their speeches were done. Darren Aronofsky, on hand to make a speech, also dropped by, seeking Waters out for a photo, and later chatting with Scorsese about a mysterious new project he’s writing.
